We draw names too, and we set a limit on how much you can spend. Then everyone buys for the kids in the family. It works out much better because it puts the focus on being with family at the holidays instead of on the gifts.

Now that my brother has two young daughters, our family decided to draw names. That way they only have to buy for one person instead of 6! Since we are all adults, gifts aren't that important to us. We'd rather they use their money to spoil the girls.
